Project sewage treatment plant in Cismar / Ostholstein: 2 x 2 chain scrapers + scum pipes for preliminary settling basins of 25 x 4 m and final settling basins of 40 x 6 m

In February 2019, we will supply a total of four DEWA® plastic chain scrapers with scum pipes (hand-lever operated) for the new primary and final settling tanks of the Cismar sewage treatment plant. The extremely low-wear DEWA® systems remove bottom and surface sludge in two primary sedimentation tanks measuring 25 x 4 m and in two final sedimentation tanks measuring 40 x 6 m. The discharge of the surface sludge by means of the scum pipes takes place in all four basins by manual operation.

We thank our client, engineering company and the end customer for their trust in us and for the good cooperation.

Project sewage treatment plant Bekkelaget (UBRA) Oslo, Norway: 8 chain scrapers + fully automatic scum pipes for preliminary settling basins of 57 x 6 m and 60 x 5.6 m

Delivery of 8 DEWA® plastic chain scraper systems plus scum pipes with fully automatic operation for the sewage treatment plant Bekkelaget (UBRA) Oslo, Norway in Underground.

Oslo is one of the fastest growing cities in Europe. As part of the project "UBRA", an abbreviation for "Utbygging by Bekkelaget Renseanlegg", which translates as the expansion of the Bekkelaget sewage treatment plant, an underground extension of the sewage treatment plant will be carried out from a capacity of approx. 270,000 PE to approx. 500,000 PE.

In the spring of 2019, we will supply the first four of a total of eight DEWA® plastic chain scrapers with fully automatic scum pipes for the new primary settling tanks. Four more systems will be delivered in the summer of 2019 and are expected to be in Operation in the same year. The low-wear DEWA® systems remove bottom and surface sludge in four primary sedimentation tanks measuring 57 x 6 m and in four primary sedimentation tanks measuring 60 x 5.6 m. The discharge of the surface sludge by means of the scum pipes is fully automatic in all eight tanks. Thanks to a newly developed process in which the scum pipes adjusts automatically to the variable water level, it ensures that even when the water level fluctuates, the floating sludge is efficiently extracted with very low water content.

We thank our client and the end customer for their trust and good cooperation.

Project  at ERA Oftringen / 8 scrapers for final setting basins and a skimming channel in a basin of 44 x 8 m size

Supply of 8 DEWA® plastic chain scraper systems and a V-trough skim channel (hand-lever operated) to ARA Oftringen, Switzerland.

In September 2017, we supply the first two DEWA® plastic chain scrapers with our V-trough skim channel (hand-lever operated) to ARA in Oftringen (Switzerland). In the next two years all old bridge scrapers will be replaced by our DEWA® belt scrapers with skim gutters. Thereby, the discontinuous sludge removal will be replaced by continuous sludge scraping into the final setting basin of a 44 x 8 m size.

We would like to thank our Swiss partner and our common customers for its trust in us and are looking forward to a successful cooperation in the project implementation.

Project sewage treatment plant in Berlin-Wassmannsdorf: 12 chain scrapers in a preliminary setting basin of a 50 x 10 m size.

Supply and assembly of DEWA® plastic chain scraper systems including built-in fittings in the preliminary setting basin at the sewage treatment plant in Berlin-Wassmannsdorf

In January 2015 we successfully commissioned the first two of a total of 12 DEWA® plastic chain scrapers at the sewage treatment plant in Berlin-Wassmannsdorf. In September 2017, the last two systems will be commissioned. Then all the old systems will be replaced by DEWA® belt scrapers. The low-wear DEWA® systems remove bottom sludge and top scum in the preliminary setting basin and in the central basin of a 50 x 10 m size.

We would like to thank the Berlin Public Waterworks for their trust in us and a fruitful cooperation during the project execution.

Project sewage treatment plant in Mannheim: final treatment with activated carbon powder

Supply of 10 DEWA® plastic chain scrapers for bottom sludge scraping including in-feed units and skim gutters for the sedimentation basin for powdered activated carbon (size 77 x 6 m) at the sewage treatment plant of Mannheim.

The first plastic chain scrapers installed in 2009 were followed by 8 other scrapers commissioned in the summer of 2016. Today 10 DEWA® bottom-sludge scrapers remove the activated carbon powder sludge from the sedimentation tanks to the sludge hoppers of the recirculation pumps and ensure a perfect elimination of traces at the wastewater treatment plant in Mannheim.

We would like to thank our client and the end customer for their trust in us and a  fruitful cooperation during the project execution.
